LivionKey Register now allows you to plan key handovers from manual storage locations (like your office) for a future date and time. This enhances flexibility and convenience, especially when customers cannot pick up keys immediately.

How to Schedule a Future Key Handover

  • Initiate Handover: Start the key handover process as usual, selecting the key(s) to be handed over.

  • Choose Manual Storage: Select "Manual storage" as the pickup location.

  • Schedule Pickup Time: Choose a future date and time for the key pickup.

  • Provide Pickup Location Details: Enter clear instructions on where the customer can pick up the keys (e.g., office address, specific desk or counter).

  • Enable Notifications (Recommended): Ensure that Email and/or SMS notifications are enabled for the contract. This will automatically send pickup instructions to the customer, including the pickup location and any other relevant details.

  • Complete Handover: Once the scheduled pickup time arrives, access the contract in LivionKey Register and mark the keys as "fetched." The customer will then receive a receipt confirming the key handover.

Tip: You can customize the "future manual contract" notification template to provide specific instructions or information relevant to your organization or the pickup location.

Contract Verification

You can also enable contract verification for future manual handovers. This adds an extra layer of security and ensures that the customer agrees to the terms and conditions before picking up the keys.
