This article explains how to use the Event History feature in LivionKey Manager to track system modifications and operations.

Understanding the Event History

The Event History feature in LivionKey Manager is a valuable tool for tracking system activity and maintaining security. Utilize its filtering and search capabilities to gain insights into key and contract events, enabling you to proactively manage your key management infrastructure.

Accessing Event History

  1. Log in to your LivionKey Register account.

  2. Locate the left navigation bar.

  3. Click on "Event History."

Event History User Interface

The Event History page displays a table with the following columns:

  • Action: The type of action performed (create, update, delete, execute) and when it happened

  • Details: The type and ID of the affected system resource with additional information about the action, if available.

Filtering and Searching Event History

You can use filters and search to narrow down the events displayed:

  • Search: Enter keywords or phrases to find events in any column

  • Filter by Organization Unit: Select an organization unit to see events associated with it

  • Filter by Contract: Select a contract to see related events

  • Filter by Key: Select a key to see events involving it

  • Filter by User: Select a user to see events performed by them

  • Filter by Device: Select a key automat to see associated events

  • Filter by Period: Select a date range (up to 30 days)

To apply filters:

  1. Enter search terms (optional)

  2. Choose desired filters

  3. Select a date range (optional)

  4. The filtered events will be displayed in the table

Security and Data Retention

LivionKey Manager follows industry-standard security practices to protect your event history data. The data retention period is configurable based on your organization's needs and compliance policies. Contact our support team for more information.


Key-Related Events

From the Key Details view, you can find comprehensive information about events related to a specific key, such as when and for which contract it was fetched or returned.


Key Contract-Related Events

The Key Contract Details view provides insights into contract events, including:

  • Creation date

  • Sent notifications (with previews)

  • Notification delivery status

  • Key events associated with the contract
