Welcome back to LivionKey training! In this guide, we'll show you how to add a new Key Automat to your LivionKey system.
Adding a New Key Automat
Navigate to the Key Automats Page
From the left-hand menu within LivionKey, click on the "Key Automats" page. This page lists all the Key Automats currently in your organization.
Add the Key Automat
In the top right corner of the Key Automats page, you'll see an "Add New Key Automat" button. Click on this button to start the process.
Provide the Physical Address
It's very important to enter the exact physical address where the Key Automat will be installed. This address will be used in notifications to guide users when they need to pick up or return keys.
Assign a Label (Optional but Recommended)
If you're installing multiple Key Automats at the same location, assigning a label to each one is helpful. Keep the labels simple, such as "A", "B", "C", etc.
Make sure to also apply the same label as a sticker on the front plate of the corresponding Key Automat.
When users receive a notification to fetch a key, they'll see both the address and the label, making it easier to find the correct Key Automat.
Use the Installation PIN
Once you've added the Key Automat in LivionKey, an installation PIN will be displayed on the screen.
The new Key Automat will be waiting for this installation code. It will be blinking with a blue front light, indicating it's ready for setup.
Enter the installation code into the new Key Automat.
Connection and Setup
After you successfully enter the installation code, the Key Automat will connect to your organization and the iLOQ locking system.
Add Detailed Location Information (Optional)
If the Key Automat is installed in a location that might be hard to find, you can add extra instructions to help users.
Go to the Key Automat's settings and find the section called "Detailed Location Information for Notifications."
Here, you can add written directions and even a Google Maps link if needed.
Be sure to review how this information will look when you create a new contract.
You've now successfully added a new Key Automat to your LivionKey system! It's ready to streamline your key management and provide convenient access to your users.
