Welcome to LivionKey! This guide will walk you through the initial configuration steps for using LivionKey.
To follow along with this tutorial, you’ll need iLOQ API user credentials. This article provides instructions on how to create them.
All settings are located on the Organizations page, which you can access from the left-hand menu within the LivionKey platform.
Set the Timezone
Ensure the correct timezone is selected for your Key Automats. This is critical for accurate contract start and end times.
The timezone you set here will be applied to all new Key Automats added to your organization.
You can always adjust the timezone for specific Key Automats later in their individual settings if needed.
Enable iLOQ Communication
Allow LivionKey to communicate with iLOQ by entering the required credentials.
This enables seamless communication between all your Key Automats and the iLOQ system.
After entering the credentials, press Verify Connection to confirm they are valid and you have the necessary usage rights.
Configure Notifications
It's highly recommended to enable the Key Not Returned notification. This will automatically alert the designated contract contact person if a key is not returned on time. You can also set how often reminder notifications should be resent.
Additionally, you can designate individuals within your organization to receive notifications about the Key Automat's status. These notifications can include alerts for:
Battery Power: When the Key Automat is running on battery power due to a power outage.
Door Jam: If the Key Automat door is jammed, potentially due to an object other than a key being placed in the locker.
Once you've completed these initial configuration steps, your organization is ready to start using the LivionKey system and experience the benefits of automated key management.
