Keeping Your LivionKey Up-to-Date
We regularly update the LivionKey system to provide you with the best possible experience. These updates include improvements to the user interface, backend servers, and the Key Automat software itself.
Types of Updates
User Interface and Server Updates: These updates happen seamlessly in the background and typically won't disrupt your workflow.
Key Automat Software Updates: These updates are quick, usually taking only 10-20 seconds, depending on the network connection.
Update Process
New Key Automats: When you initialize a new Key Automat, it automatically checks for and installs the latest software version during startup.
Existing Key Automats: To minimize disruption, software updates for existing Key Automats are performed automatically at night.
What does "A new version is available." mean?
When we release a new version of the LivionKey web app while you have it open, the message "A new version is available." appears at the bottom of the screen. Click Reload to start using the new version. Reloading clears anything you have not saved, so save open forms first. If a page that is still on the old version cannot open a view, it reloads itself once automatically.
