LivionKey20 offers a valuable feature called offline key programming. This means that even if there's a temporary network outage, the Key Automat can still program S5 keys, ensuring a smooth and uninterrupted experience for your end-users.

How it Works

When a key contract starts, LivionKey20 only requires a network connection for a few minutes to initiate the process. Once the initial connection is established, the key can be retrieved and programmed even if the network connection is temporarily lost.

Benefits of Offline Key Programming

  • Uninterrupted Service: Keys can be fetched even during temporary network outages.

  • Faster Key Retrieval: The Key retrieval process is faster since no network connection is needed once the process has started.

Enabling or Disabling Offline Key Programming

By default, offline key programming is enabled on LivionKey20. However, if you prefer to require an online connection for key programming, you can disable this feature:

  1. Go to Key Automat List: Navigate to the Key Automat list view in LivionKey Register.

  2. Open Lockers View: Select the Key Automat and open its lockers view.

  3. Access Settings: Click the three-dot menu in the top-right corner and select "Settings."

  4. Toggle Online Requirement: Turn on the "Require online connection for key programming" option.

Once enabled, the Key Automat will need a stable network connection to program keys.
