In LivionKey, Key rings allow you to group multiple keys together, just like a physical key ring. When keys are part of a key ring, they are always handed over and returned as a unit, ensuring that all associated keys are managed simultaneously.
Creating and Managing Key rings
Creating a Key ring
Access the Keys List: Navigate to the "Keys" page in LivionKey Register
Select Keys: Select the keys you want to group together.
Assign to Key ring: Right-click on any of the selected keys and choose "Assign X keys key ring"
Choose or Create Key ring:
You can either select an existing key ring from the dropdown list.
Or, create a new key ring by entering a unique ID/name and pressing "Create new"
Save: Press "Save" to group the selected keys into the chosen key ring.
Key ring Icon: You'll notice a three-dot icon next to the default key icon, indicating that the key is part of a key ring
Important: You can only group keys when they are not part of an active contract.
Removing or Add a Key from a Key ring
Access Key Details: Open the details view of any key within the keyr ing
Edit Key ring: Click the pencil icon in the Key ring section
Remove Key: Click the trash can icon next to the key you want to remove
Add another key: Use the search field to find other available keys to be added to the key ring
Save Changes: Press "Save" to complete the removal
