Overview

LivionKey supports signing in with Microsoft Work accounts through Microsoft Entra ID.

This article explains:

  • How end users sign in with Microsoft

  • What happens if the same LivionKey account already uses Google login

  • How a customer's IT admin can allow LivionKey in Microsoft Entra ID

How to Sign In with Microsoft

  1. Open the LivionKey login page.

  2. Click Login with Microsoft.

  3. Choose the Microsoft account you want to use.

  4. Complete the Microsoft sign-in flow.

LivionKey always prompts you to choose an account during Microsoft sign-in, so the wrong previously used Microsoft account isn't automatically selected.

If Microsoft Login Is Blocked by Your Organization

Some organizations require Microsoft Entra ID administrator approval before users can access third-party apps like LivionKey.

If login is blocked or consent is required, contact your organization's IT admin and ask them to allow LivionKey in Microsoft Entra ID.

How IT Admins Can Allow LivionKey in Microsoft Entra ID

If the customer's IT admin wants to allow the app manually in their Microsoft environment, they can do the following:

  1. Go to Identity β†’ Applications β†’ Enterprise applications β†’ All applications.

  2. Search for LivionKey.

  3. Open the LivionKey enterprise application.

  4. Go to Security β†’ Permissions.

  5. Review the requested permissions.

  6. Click Grant admin consent for <Company Name>.

Important notes for admins

  • If someone in the organization has already tried to sign in with Microsoft, the LivionKey enterprise application may already be visible in the tenant and searchable there.

  • If the app is not yet visible, the organization may need to start the Microsoft sign-in flow first or use a direct admin-consent link provided by Livion.

  • Granting admin consent should be reviewed in line with the customer's security practices.

If You Already Use Google with the Same Email

If your LivionKey account already uses Google login and you try to sign in with Microsoft using the same email address, LivionKey will prompt you to link the sign-in methods.

What you will see

LivionKey will show:

  • a message explaining that the email already exists

  • a Continue with Google button

  • a Cancel button

How linking works

  1. Start by clicking Login with Microsoft.

  2. If LivionKey detects that the same email already exists with Google login, click Continue with Google.

  3. Sign in with the matching Google account.

  4. LivionKey links your Microsoft sign-in to the same LivionKey account.

After the linking is complete, you can use Microsoft login normally the next time you sign in.

If you choose Cancel

If you click Cancel, LivionKey clears the linking step and returns you to the normal login view.
