Replacing a Key Automat

If your LivionKey20 Key Automat is damaged, malfunctioning, or needs to be upgraded, you can easily replace it with a new one using the "Replace Key Automat" feature in LivionKey Register.

Important: This process ensures that all your data, including the Key Automat ID, location information, keys, and contracts, are preserved and transferred to the new device.

Before You Begin

  • If the old Key Automat is still functional, try to remove all keys from the lockers before replacing it.

  • If you cannot remove the keys due to a malfunction, you may need to disassemble the unit to retrieve them manually.

Replacement Steps

  1. Initiate Replacement:

    • In the Key Automat view, click the three-dot menu in the top-right corner.

    • Select "Replace Key Automat."

  2. Obtain Installation Code:

    • The system will generate a new installation code for the replacement device.

  3. Install the New Key Automat:

    • Install the new Key Automat following the standard installation procedure.

  4. Register Keys:

    • Once the new Key Automat is installed, present each key from the old automat to the NFC reader on the new unit.

    • The system will automatically register the keys and associate them with the correct lockers.

    • After all keys are registered, the new Key Automat is ready for use.
